About the owner
The Story
Hello, I am John Duncan, the owner of Kingdom Group Safety!
I have been in the safety business for over 20 years. I started off my career as a commercial diver, working as a contractor for Chevron, BP and large offshore salvage companies. I stayed in the oil and gas industry for the majority of my career where I supervised the safety for oil refinery shutdowns, AC mitigation for pipelines, the construction of pipelines, and salvage and diving operations. Some of the mentioned ventures were large scale operations with hundreds of personnel working on a shift, and worth billions of dollars.
I stopped traveling for work so I could spend more time with my wife and kids. I took a job as a safety director for a local GC who had been in business for over 100 years. During my time as their safety director, I was able to help lead the company in into having a well above average safety program, with the metrics to prove it.
The evolution of Kingdom Group Safety comes from my desire to build something great, while providing excellent customer service!
